DROPPED!

Joined a club ride yesterday out of the Silverdale YMCA with WSTC. All the fast people were gone in minutes, slower people left behind. But they left early so I didn't get in the group photo, I didn't see a map & didn't get any contact phone numbers for anyone. And the fuckers left me behind. I missed a turn somewhere.
After I figured it out I turned around and headed back to the Y. I was PISSED OFF. At Lan a little but he wouldn't have done it on purpose, he never has before.  But the whole group was fucked up. I never did see the slow people again either.
Posted on the FB page and complained about it and one of the bitches who passed me & never looked back was Deb Campbell & that bitch made it sound like I was at fault. Fucking bitch. She passed me at mile 2 but said she brought up the rear the entire time. FUCK YOU WRINKLY OLD BITCH.
After I turned around I got a call to come in to work so returned to Y & drove home, i was so pissed off I was shaking mad. I didn't care that Lan would have to ride home.
and fucking Linda gave him a ride home after I explicitly told her not to give him a ride under any circumstances. Bitch. Im done being friends with her.
Boss wanted me to do 2-midnight but he covered that and I got midnight-4am instead.
I had time to cool off after I got home, got some texts from a few people. I wasn't mad at Lan any more by the time he got home and we talked about the ride. He said they were all fucked up, no one knew the route, they had them going way out to Agate Passage. He said they had several meet up points but NONE of the people were at any of them. Different people told him I was with a group of people but he never did find them & of course I wasn't with them. I was alone, probably home by then.
Im never joining a group with those people again. Fuckers.
I hope Deb Campbell gets hit by a fucking car.

What a great day

...to make up a couple missed workouts. Lan & I met with Windy at the Silverdale pool this morning & I swam 40 laps, a much needed 2000 yards of straight swimming. No drills, no flippers, no pool buoys, no nothing, just got in & swam. I finished in 55:54, not bad. Not good but not bad.

Went grocery shopping on the way home, can't believe the price of food now. Damn, its killing me.

Then Lan & I went for a run/walk and here we are:
Ended up going 5.56 miles in about 1:15. We did stop to talk to Ralph, who is building a new home, asked him about his new house. He was nice and helpful, glad to share his experiences and builder info.

Horse info:
Wifi is shedding, its almost time to get photos of her in her springtime coat. I need to ride.

My first 100 mile week, so far

Every week I post my workout distance totals on FaceBook for the world to see. Or as much of 59 people is the world. This week I had:

Weekly totals:
Swim: 3400 yards (1.93 miles)
Bike: 86.1 miles
Run: 11.91 miles
Total distance: 99.94
Time: 13:55 hours

An average speed of 7.19 miles per hour.

This has been my biggest week, by far and I feel pretty good.  Tomorrow I'll start a new week and I hope I do at least as well.

A lot of it depends on work, if they give me a midnight shift I'm pretty much toast the next day and even though I had one Thursday I just changed my  workout days off & did that workout Friday. That doesn't always work and if I'm tired it sucks.

Walking on Beach Drive with Linda

This week I did Masters on Monday, swam with Heidi & Lindy on Wednesday, rode mtn bikes with Lan on Friday and walked with Linda today.  I'm also doing a lot of indoor bike trainer rides with Lan and of course, doing a LOT of stuff alone.  I'm also doing the run a mile every day in March challenge and have only missed 2 days all month, Wednesday & Thursday, due to work. But I still got in a few miles done.  I consider all walked miles as RUN miles since in Ironman they call it a run no matter what.

Lan and I have been thinking and talking about taking a Vegas vacation at the end of April/beginning May. I hope we can swing it, we both need some sunshine and we also both need to be riding our bikes in the desert. I am crossing my fingers and I'll find out later this week if I can have the time off or not and so will he. The week mentioned is the ONLY week that late in the spring that I could possibly get off.  Fingers crossed. XXXXXX

Horse News:
Today I had 2 new people decide to move into our barn, one girl has a TB gelding and the other has a marish Arab mare. It will be a nice $500 each month for hay, yay.  The TB needs a lot of supplement's, I hope that's not going to be a pain in the ass.

Wifi is shedding out nicely, not quite white yet this year.

Amy's Freisian mare, Argo, has a filly 2 days ago. Argo is the same age as Wifi.

When I'm so tired

I had to work midnight to 9am last night. Came home to bed, slept 3 hours. Got up, ate, went down to the barn and cleaned some of it. Came back up, had lunch and went back to bed for 2 more hours of totally interrupted sleep.
Right now I'm so tired my eyes hurt.
I was supposed to swim and run today and I did neither. Yesterday I was supposed to run a mile but that's fucked up. I hate working these hard overnight hours, they really suck.

Riding the bike trainer is fun

I've been riding my bike trainer since the week after Christmas in preparation for Ironman Coeur d'Alene in June. Here I was wearing my helmet to get my head used to the weight of it out on the road so I wouldn't have a sore neck. I need to start doing that again.

I rarely use this bottle cage while in the house, its kind of inconvenient.
While I ride I've been watching the entire LOST show on netflix. I'm on season 2 now and even though I remember a lot of it, I've been surprised to see many of the things happen.
Shannon just died! Nathan is now dead due to one of the Others who infiltrated the tail end peoples camp. This is exciting.

I've been working almost full time the last few weeks, makes it hard to get all my training in. Usually I can fit a workout in before or after work but sometimes they want me to work Graveyard shift, or midnight to 9am. That fucks with me on so many levels.

Horse news: Joey has new shoes and the girls are both freshly trimmed. Now I just need a warm, dry day off work and someone to go ride with.
I had 1 day, I had made previous plans to go see Wenny. Ugh! I won't do that again.
I'll ride my bike in the morning and my horse in the afternoon.

Yay for Daylight Savings Time!!

Getting harder to post

I'm spending more time working out & more time working. I find less and less time to post on here but I'm trying!
Today I was called in to work, tomorrow too so even though they are only 5 hour work days I'll still be away from home half the day. I'll have to do my track run in the morning and ride my bike after I get home.
Today I made it to Masters swim after work, also ran a mile on the indoor track. So far this month I have ran at least a mile every day.

I'm still running

I've ran at least 1 mile every day this month so far in the Run Every Day In March Challenge. It's not hard when you're only doing 1 mile and it makes it easier when you need to go farther.

I've been reading a lot of magazines about triathlon lately and learning so much. They've got a plethora of information.

Wifi is home!
Shes got a bit of shedding to do before shes her prettiest, white with black points. I just can't wait for that.  Shes got a bigger butt after spending 2 months running in the big pasture.  I need to ride her now.

Run Every Day In March

On Face book they have the Run Every Day in March challenge, so I signed up. All you have to do is run 1 mile, every day. That's from my house out to the end of the road & back, not a big deal.

Not a big deal I say now...

So far I did 3.74, 1 & 4.5. Its going to add up fast. As long as I keep it up.

Here is a picture of me today:

Work this week has already interfered with my training; 38 hours of work will be a nice paycheck but I only rode 24 miles on the bike. They were mostly fucked up hours too, midnight - 4am BS. Yesterday I showed up at 2:10pm & found out I wasn't supposed to be there until 3:10 but only because they had changed the schedule and neglected to tell me. At least I was early and not late. But still.

This weekend I had 2 selling shifts so its more pay and easy work but heck, any of the work there is pretty damn easy. Next Friday, on Lans 46th birthday, I'll work midnight to 9am, gonna KILL me.

Yesterday was the ending party of the YMCA weight loss challenge, we weren't able to attend but I guess Lan & I won a prize and got an honorable mention or something. That's great, too bad we missed it. Lans final weight loss was 12 lbs, mine was 4. And I've gained 2 back but that doesn't surprise me at all.
